The chaos of Easter break is over, the children have gone back to school and Lulu and I are slipping back into a routine (I have a love/hate relationship with routine!) I have a couple of crochet projects on the go at the moment and I'm also working on a few orders but last night I stopped it all to make a little birthday gift for a friend. I wanted to crochet her something pretty for her house and I'd seen lots of gorgeous coaster sets online so I had a look at some patterns and set out to make a set...
We have had a lovely & exhausting Easter break, we've caught up with family and friends, hunted for easter eggs, baked, played and made a mess! But the most exciting thing we did over the holidays was a trip to Disneyland Paris...
Taking a little break over the Easter Holidays but I'll be back next week.
Have a lovely Easter and enjoy the long weekend. Em xx
P.S I'm very excited that my Egg Cosy pattern has been featured on one of my favourite blogs Tangled Happy, If you love crochet and are looking for inspiration go and have a look at Sara's blog; it's full of gorgeous crochet patterns/makes.
I've been working on decorating an Easter Bonnet for Lulu this week. It's been a while since I've been able to do one as K has long outgrown the tradition and Oli refused point-blank to wear a bonnet! So I've had loads of fun crocheting little flowers and eggs to adorn her bonnet...
I mentioned we managed to have a wander around a flea market early Sunday morning and that I love to do this. I'm happy that it is once again car boot 'season' as we love to have a wander around them AND I desperately need to de-clutter (it's a double-edged sword!).
