Slowdown Sunday

Today has been one of those days where I don't feel like doing a thing; I'm thankful it's a Sunday and have decided to give in to my mood without guilt (untill tomorrow when I think of all the things I could have done on this sunny day).  The boys have been very busy with Rugby practice and gardening while I have wondered aimlessly around the garden.  I have taken a few snaps on my phone to show what a lovely day it is and am writing this quickly while I feel inclined before I succumb to my mood with a cup of tea and my new book...

While I just sit and read.

I am thoroughly enjoying Lucy Worsley's 'If Walls Could Talk' and the TV series of the same name which encompasses three of my favourite things history, literature and the home - bliss!

Right, back off to the garden to read and ponder.

Bye for now. Em xx
