Something for the Weekend
{26.04.13}
This weekend I am very excited to be traveling to London to catch up with some friends I have not seen for too long. Besides enjoying good company I hope to squeeze in some of these activities...
♥ 1. Crochet - Finishing some examples of a pattern that I have had written down for a while, using my favourite stitch - bobbles! Although crocheting in public does not worry me, I shall probably leave this one at home as its super chunky yarn and I don't want to carry it in my handbag! The pattern should be posted next here next week. :))
♥ 2. Reading - Love In A Cold Climate, Nancy Mitford. I've been saving this book - I think it will be perfect for a long train journey.
♥ 3. Reading - Coming Up Roses, The Story of A Growing Business, Cath Kidston. To celebrate the company's 20th anniversary Cath Kidston has released a new book which, documents how her company has evolved. I Love Cath Kidston so I'm looking forward to having a good read of this one. The quote from Cath on the back made me smile too, 'When you're self-taught you always worry that you will be found out' - I think a lot of self-taught crafters feel like that too (I know I do!)
If I have any time left I will be:
Baking. I've wanted to try an angel cake for a while now. I pinned this one from the Martha Stewart website, it uses only 6 ingredients and is virtually fat free - I'll have some of that!
Catching up on some of my favourite bloggers who have taken part in the 4th annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week, hopefully one year I will get organised and join in - you can tell I'm still working on that new years resolution!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Bye for now. Em xx
