Crochet: A Fabulous Giveaway
*giveaway now closed*
I have a very exciting post today :) Inside Crochet Magazine are celebrating their 50th issue and have very kindly given me a fabulous prize to give away here on my blog...
Now, because I am incapable of saving the best to last I'm going to share the details of the giveaway first, then some of the beautiful patterns that are available in this months issue.
Here we go... Inside Crochet Magazine are offering the chance to win a YEARS digital subscription to their gorgeous magazine - gaaah
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment below, the giveaway is open internationally to anyone over 18. The Giveaway will run till midday 1st March 2014 when a winner will be picked randomly.
So if you love crochet or perusing gorgeous magazines this is one for you - or if you already subscribe why not enter for a friend. I am totally converted to digital magazines - I enjoy so many and can never bear to part with them so keeping them all on my iPad has been a revelation.
Anyway enough waffle I'll get on and share some of my favourite patterns from this issue to give you a taste of the magazine...
Campervan doorstop by Emma Varnam:
I love Emma's work and this is definitely my kind of project - I'm looking forward to making one of these for Lulu's bedroom.
Frill Swing Jacket by Katie Jones:
This has made it on to my wish list. I love the colours but I can see it working in neutrals too.
Staccato Shawl by Annelies Baes:
I have a thing about shawls at the moment - gorgeous.
Anja Wrap by Nicky Hale:
Pom-poms and flowers - what's not to love?
Stanley Blanket by Jennifer Reid
Anything named Stanley is a winner in my book - this blanket is gorgeously retro.
Lastly, my column this month features some spring blossom pot holders and a simple heart motif, perfect for some Valentines day decorating ;)
Now you can see why I'm so excited about this giveaway. Every month I look forward to beautiful patterns, designer interviews, crochet-a-longs, book & yarn reviews. I always start at the back (a throwback from too many years of skipping straight to the horoscopes and advice columns in my teens!) until I get to the patterns, at which point I go back to the beginning and read through until I reach those beautifully styled pattern photographs where I get lost for a while - mmm seems maybe I am capable of saving the best till last!
Don't forget to leave a comment if you'd like to enter for the year's subscription - any queries about the giveaway feel free to email me.
I'll be back soon as I have finally have something finished to share :)
Bye for now. Em xx
