I asked Lulu if she'd like me to crochet her a pair of socks, she said she'd rather have a fish! http://t.co/1EQfBdCI20
A Giveaway Winner
and some spring crochet...
I feel like spring is finally finding its way to us here. We had a glorious weekend and even though the sun is no longer shining the grey days seem less grey as everything starts to come to life again.
Today I'm very excited to announce the winner of the Inside Crochet digital subscription giveaway...
I was so pleased that so many of you took the time to enter, I loved reading all your comments. I wish I had a subscription for every single one of you. For those of you that asked about the campervan pattern as far as I'm aware you can only get hold of it in Inside Crochet Magazine for now but if you'd like to contact Emma directly about her design pop over to her blog, I'm sure she'd love to hear from you.
I've picked a winner from the 210 entries by using random.org and the number picked was 193, which belongs to: ALISON BARROW.
Congratulations Alison! Please get in touch with your contact details.
The new issue of Inside Crochet (51) is out now with some gorgeous spring patterns, I'm very tempted to start work on the Garden Tablecloth by Nicki Trench because I'm already dreaming of warmer days to come. This month I have some simple spring jar cosies and mini crochet eggs for Easter decorating in my column which I have loved making.
I've revisited the eggs I made a couple of years ago to adorn Lulu's Easter bonnet
I love spring crochet; brighter, lighter yarns and inspiration blooming from everything around me - plus the chance to crochet outdoors again, which is something I have missed more than I care to admit ;)
Thanks once again to everyone who entered the giveaway - For those of you who would still like to get your hands on a digi subscription there are further opportunities to win over on the Inside Crochet Blog.
I hope you are all enjoying the lighter days and your spring crochet projects.
Bye for now. Em xx
